 Jelly Jillybean | | | Interesting Evening...
Date: January 24th, 2o1o. Mood: Curious. Listening To: "The Only Living Boy in New York" by Simon & Garfunkel Friend Groups: True Blue, Close Friends, Coworkers
I went out the other night... Alone, as usual. I just really didn't feel like cooking. It was fairly boring to begin with, and I was feeling pretty down in the dumps, but I stumbled upon this pub I'd never heard of before. Funny, because apparently it's been there for years. I just didn't know it was there. Shows how much of a London native I still don't qualify as.
Anyhow, this place is called The Black Friar. Very nice atmosphere, lots of fun. I got to talking to the man who was covering for the regular bartender (his brother... I guess this is a family business?), and discovered a number of things about him. Number one, women throw themselves at him like raindrops pelting leaves. Number two, he doesn't like that. And, according to him, even communicating with women was rare for him. The fact that he kinda opened up to me and spilled the story of his various bad experiences with women surprised me. I guess it makes me special. I digress. Number three? He swears up and down that he doesn't want anything to do with any sort of female. Ever again. Why was it, then, that this happened?:
He pretty much dragged me out of the bar and told me he wanted to go for a walk. Then ice cream...
Ow!
Just as I'm getting into a decent entry... Kane's mewling and clawing my jeans (and my leg) to pieces. Funny that this rabbit has taken to mothering the little kitten, isn't it? I'm going to go tend to his every whim... That's what I'm here for, after all, isn't it?

 JellyJillybean | | | Not again...
Date: March 2nd, 2o1o. Mood: Worried. Listening To: "Lullaby" ~ Jewel Friend Groups: Close Friends, Coworkers
So, do you remember me writing about that guy? Yeah. So this Patronus comes busting into the office on Saturday - no, I'm not always at work - asking for immediate assistance at The Black Friar. That guy's family owns the place. So, even though it was what I had to do because it's my job, I was twice as freaked out. I get over there? He's unconscious. There's glass and debris everywhere, everything is in a damn shambles. We toted almost everyone there off to Mungo's. They were attacked, somehow.
I went to visit him with his daughter yesterday, in the hospital. He's getting better, but his sister is a wreck - and his little girl is terrified she's going to lose her dad. What am I supposed to do? It's better if I don't get close, right? What if something happens? What if I can't do anything to help? She even yelled at me, when I arrived on scene, for not being there soon enough to save her dad... but it wasn't my fault. I got there as soon as I knew....
What do I do? What am I supposed to do? I like this guy. Really like this guy. But if I get too close to him, and something happens, then what? Do I really want to risk getting involved with another family full of turmoil? Everyone saw what happened when I went in to find out more about the other family.
This is bad, and I don't know what to do, or where to turn.
