Oliver may have been a healer but he hated these places and the fact that he was now a patient didn't sit well with him and he was not happy. No body said it was a great patient. He was irratiable and everything the only thing that kept him sane was Amberley and the fact that she was alright. That had been his only concern next to the others. At least he hoped his daughter was alright. He knew Bridie was still alive just barley though thanks to their mental connection. If he lost that there is no telling what would happen.
His side was taped up from his stab wound along with his arm. If he ever got a chance to see his Auntie again she was going to pay. He sighed a gave a grunt as he moved a bit, and for some reason when he burped, he burped up slugs. Oh joy.

The Gordon family had, as it seemed, been completely scattered with this attack. Jillian didn't know who had done it, or why they'd done it, but many of the adult members of the family were injured and in the hospital. Despite the young girl's protests, the Chief Hitwizard took it upon herself to care for Oliver's daughter. The girl was worried about her dad more than anything, and if she allowed herself to be honest, so was Jillian.
The girl in tandem, after hours of going over files and reports, the Hitwizard finally indulged the cries to go visit Oliver. Jillian held Amberley's hand as they made their way to the nurses' station, and found Oliver's room. She stepped into the room quietly, shutting the door behind her. "Hello, Oliver..." she spoke quietly. The girl was only too excited to see that her Daddy wasn't dead. Releasing Amber's hand, she followed the girl to Oliver's bedside. "I'll get us some chairs, okay, kiddo?" She swallowed, closing her eyes for a moment. It was hard to see anyone in this condition. It was hard to remember having been in his place only a year ago. She gathered up chairs and pulled one to each side of his bed, giving Amber her pick before reluctantly sitting down herself.
She frowned at the burping of slugs. She knew that hex, and there wasn't any counter to it, to date. "You need a bucket - or a trash can or something?" Well, this was awkward.

Oliver had just closed his eyes when the door opened, he had been ready to tell them to get out and stop checking on him but had stopped when he saw Amberley and Jillian. Giving them a smile before burping a little. "Hey curly." He patted the mattress beside him, "Get up here and keep me company."
Course Amberley didn't need to be told twice, she got up from her chair and moved promptly to her dad's side that wasn't taped up. Laying her head on his chest as he wrapped an arm around her. Let someone tell either one of them she couldn't be up there.
He looked over at Jillian with a smile, "Trashcan would be nice." He was slient for a moment before burping again, he didn't like the ackwardness of this. "Right I'm not dead so stop acting like it both of you. I'm just banged up is all. I'll live."

Kiddo she really hated that word but her dad liked this chick so she was going to deal with it. Her dad was alive course he was hurt but he was alive and she was more than happy about that. Cause she could hear his heart beat.
Still she didn't like the fact he was burping up slugs that was just disgusting. But he was alive. and she was a lot less angry now.

"Trash can. Got it." Jillian, after making sure that the girl was safely nestled with her father, whisked off to the other, empty side of the room. She grabbed the freshly cleaned trash can and brought it over to him, sitting down and holding it out. "I'll hold, you hurl? Not exactly the best time, but you've got Amber up there - so I can handle this if you want me to."
She looked to Amber and offered a small smile, then back to Oliver. "So other than the slugs, are you feeling any better? I mean - are the healers taking good care of you?" It was awkward, and the questions were probably stupid, but she wasn't sure what else to ask, or talk about. Not the weather, that's for sure.

Oliver placed an arm around Amber, giving Jill a smile, "Sounds like a plan to me. Sorry your stuck holding the trash can."
Oliver was just glad to have some company, "Pretty good but then I'm also a healer so I can tell them what they are doing wrong or whatever better than most people. Though wouldn't say I'm their best patient since I don't like being hopitals, working yes staying in the beds no." But he wanted to change the subject away from what all happened, "How are you holding up."

She chuckled. "If anybody can tell them what they're doing wrong, it's you, isn't it?" He'd never been shy about sharing his opinion, she'd learned. She offered a nonchalant shrug, smiling a little. "I'm fine. The case is taking the department by storm, so I'm busy, of course... But fine. You're the one in the hospital bed. You really shouldn't be worried about everyone else."

Oliver glanced over at Amberley who had seemed to fall alseep which didn't surprise him at all considering what all she had just been through. Another slug came up as he gave Jillian a smile, but he couldn't help to call her out on what she just said, "It comes with the job worrying about others and look at you worrying about me. I'm fine so you can stop watching me breathe."
She was right htough he would tell them just what they were doing wrong and he wouldn't care if it hurt their feelings. "Well good luck to you, cause michael has been trying to catch Auntie for the longest so more power to you." Oh yes Oliver knew did it he didn't need to be told or even guess. Only one person he knew of attacked this way and that was Auntie.
