This reporter has just stumbled onto a juicy piece of news regarding the newly-returned Chudley Cannons poster-boy John Gordon and ex-Auror-turned-Hogwarts-Professor Hermione Granger. As Cannons fans (or Gordon fans, anyway) will remember, the two used to be in what the rumor mill said was a fairly serious relationship. That flame had supposedly died out, and both Ms. Granger and Gordon seemed to drop from the public eye. At least, that is, until recently, when the two were reported seen together at the ice cream parlor in Diagon Alley.
Shopkeeper Darius Barglowe reported to the Prophet that Ms. Granger and Mr. Gordon (whom he claimed to be long-time customers) both showed up at his shop the other day within minutes of one another. Mr. Barglowe claims that although he could not hear what the two former lovebirds discussed, they did talk for some time.
"He kissed her before he left," Mr. Barglowe reported to the Prophet.
Ms. Granger is currently engaged to Hogwarts Deputy Headmaster Bill Weasley. However, this most interesting piece of news leaves this reporter with one burning question: could the fiery red-head have some competition? Keep reading, as we are sure to find out!

Female fans of the Cannons have nothing to fear any longer! Their favorite beater is back, and you can bet that things will be less than boring around the Quidditch pitch from here on out. Though we will it our obligation to tell you that he is minus one daughter, after much investigative work this reporter has found that while living in Mexico with his daughter, Paige, the young miss Gordon died. No news yet on how, and when asked for a comment from John, like always he told this reporter if she “Would be so kind as to let him get settled in first before asking him questions.” As for the romance between John and one Hermione Granger? That has seemed to fizzle out, though you don’t need to be told that! Well, John was just too good for her anyway. But the fans have rallied around John, giving him support. Keep reading, because you can be sure with our favorite Quidditch boy back in town, we will be keeping you updated.
Speaking of the Gordon boys! In related news, we have also heard news of John’s brother Phillip, explorer and thrill seeker, back in town from his latest trip to Australia. We have seemed to uncover that while there, he performed a free fall jump, after having broken his leg only two months prior, while in the Amazon. He also had a run in with a death adder in the Outback while cycling. That is just the surface of what this crazy Gordon has been up to the last few months. It has this reporter wondering if Phillip doesn’t need to go see someone about his choice of lifestyle! We weren’t able to find out if he was going to rejoin staff at Hogwarts the rest of the term after having taken a temporary leave of absence. Either way, it will be interesting to see just what these two men have in store for us!

Lightside of Darkness--bigger, better, and back with a vengeance! That's right, everyone! After a small hiatus, LSD is back online and better than ever! We've reworked our website from the ground up, and we're ready to once again take RP-Land by the horns! Our staff (which includes a new member--everyone please give a warm welcome to Phoenix) has been working tirelessly the last couple weeks to strip LSD back down to its roots and return it to the game that we all know and love...and ladies and gents, we've finally done it!
